THE DUAFE Adinkra Stud Earrings
THE DUAFE Adinkra Stud Earrings feature the symbol of a Wooden Comb. Duafe represents femininity, beauty, and cleanliness. It is a symbol of feminine consideration or good feminine qualities such as patience, prudence, fondness, love, and care. Adinkra symbols were originally created by the Bono people of Gyaman. They were named after the Gyaman King Nana Kwado Agyemang Adinkra. The symbols were later adopted into the proverbial lexicon of the Ashanti peoples of West Africa.
