THE WOVEN Kente Stud Earrings I are inspired by a contemporary blend of classic 80's style woven earrings and traditional kente cloth. Decorated with three unique kente patterns designed with the appearance of being woven together. Use of the Kente cloth dates back to the 12th century in the country of Ghana by the Ashanti people. The cloth was worn by Kings, Queens, and important figures of state in Ghana's society during ceremonial events and special occasions.
