THE SANKOFA Adinkra Necklace I
$98.00
THE SANKOFA Adinkra Necklace I features a small pillow shaped Sankofa adinkra symbol. Sankofa translates to the term "to go back and fetch it". Adinkra symbols were originally created by the Bono people of Gyaman. They were named after the Gyaman King Nana Kwado Agyemang Adinkra. The symbols were later adopted into the proverbial lexicon of the Ashanti peoples of West Africa.
