THE ILE IFE Ring is a broad band that features tiny etched markings and round beaded edges. The details are reminiscent of 13th Century Bronze work from the Ife Kingdom in the current region of South-Western Nigeria. Namely the Bronze Heads of Benin Onis (Kings). In Traditional Yoruba culture, the 'Ori' or head, is said to be the seat of spiritual, mental, and intuitive well-being. It is the storehouse of destiny, which when aligned with good character leads us to our fullest potential. Handcrafted with precious metals using the traditional lost-wax casting technique.
