A miniature version of classical mirrors from Ancient Egypt's New Kingdom circa 1550 - 1438. Our Papyrus Pocket Mirror debuted at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, UK. The piece features carved lines in the handle of the design of a styled papyrus plant. The papyrus was a symbol of creative female power and regeneration in Egypt in ancient times. The piece is polished with a high mirror finish making it a functional pocket mirror. Handcrafted with fine metals using the traditional lost-wax casting technique.
