The cowrie Abundance Necklace I is the smallest of all our cowrie necklaces. It was designed to mimic the look of the natural shell as a wearable forever piece of jewelry. The cowrie was once used as a form of currency in Africa and many coastal cities around the globe. Their significance extends beyond economics, as cowrie shells also represent spiritual protection and prosperity, often worn as pendants or amulets to ward off harm. Handcrafted with precious metals using the traditional lost-wax casting technique.
Available in:Sterling Silver, 18K Gold Vermeil (18K Gold over Sterling Silver), Solid 10K, 14K, 18K, 22K, & 24K Gold.
Made with fairly sourced African gold, recycled, and conflict-free fine metals.
