THE NKYINKYIM Adinkra Ring features a meditative interlocking Nkyinkyim Adinkra symbol wrapped around the length of the band. Nkyinkyim means "twisting" and it represents the twists and turns on the journey of life. The Adinkra symbols were originally created by the Bono people of Gyaman. They were named after the Gyaman King Nana Kwado Agyemang Adinkra. The symbols were later adopted into the proverbial lexicon of the Ashanti peoples of West Africa.
