A design featuring a lattice of interwoven cowries reminding us of our interconnectedness. A statement piece for special occasion wear. The cuff is inspired by the highly detailed traditional cuff bracelets of the Asante people of West Africa. The cowrie was once used as a form of currency in Africa and many coastal cities around the globe. Their significance extends beyond economics, as cowrie shells also represent spiritual protection and prosperity, often worn as pendants or amulets to ward off harm. Handcrafted with precious metals using the traditional lost-wax casting technique.
