THE ONYANKOPON Adom Nti Adinkra Necklace is a shortened version of the saying "by God's grace, all will be well" or ONYANKOPON Adom Nti Biribiara Beye Yie in Akan. The symbol represents hope, providence and faith. Adinkra symbols were originally created by the Bono people of Gyaman. They were named after the Gyaman King Nana Kwado Agyemang Adinkra. The symbols were later adopted into the proverbial lexicon of the Ashanti peoples of West Africa.
