THE KRAPA or Musuyidee Adinkra Necklace is a West African symbol that translates to 'good soul' or 'That which removes bad luck'. It is a symbol of protection, spiritual balance, sanctity, spiritual strength, and uprightness. The symbol bears resemblance to ancient crosses and is indigenous to the Akan. Adinkra symbols were originally created by the Bono people of Gyaman. They were named after the Gyaman King Nana Kwado Agyemang Adinkra. The symbols were later adopted into the proverbial lexicon of the Ashanti peoples of West Africa.
