THE EGYPTIAN Essentials Stack includes two of the most recognized symbols of ancient Egypt; the ankh and the cartouche. The ankh is sometimes referred to as the original cross. In Ancient Egypt it represented the womb as a portal for life, inter-dimensional travel and transformation and power. This ankh is modelled off of the ceremonial style ankh from the New Kingdom 1400-1390 BC. Cartouches were amulets worn by leaders. It is believed that the oval surrounding the inscription protected its contents from negative forces. The hieroglyphs on this popular cartouche translate roughly to 'The power to manifest'. Handcrafted with precious metals using the traditional lost-wax casting technique.
