Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
’Cause I walk like I've got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.

- Maya Angelou

THE NIGERIA Kobo Bar Coin Necklace is handcrafted based on an authentic Nigerian Coin using the traditional lost-wax casting technique. The coin features the Nigerian Coat of Arms and Oil Wells. The two lines that meet at the centre of the coat of arms represent the meeting of the Niger and Benue Rivers. The horses represent dignity and the eagle represents strength. The coins were referred to as coppers in Nigeria; Kobo is derived from the Yoruba word for this metal.
