THE ZAMBIA Crest and Flower Coin Necklace
THE ZAMBIA Crest and Flower Coin Necklace is handcrafted based on an authentic Zambian coin using the traditional lost-wax casting technique. The coin features the national coat of arms on one side and a Turbina corymbosa flower, a type of Morning Glory, on the other. The coat of arms features the African fish eagle, which represents freedom and nation's hope for the future. The hoe and pickaxe above the crest represent the country's economic foundations: agriculture and mining. The shield is a representation of Victoria Falls with water cascading over rock. The Victoria Falls represents the Zambezi river, from which Zambia takes its name.
