THE RWANDA Coin Necklace is handcrafted based on an authentic Rwandan coin using the traditional lost-wax casting technique. The design features Rwanda's's coat of arms is composed of a dove and olive branch, a hoe and billhook, a bow and arrow, each respectively symbolizing peace, work, and the defence of democratic liberties. The emblem is surrounded by two National Flags placed opposite each other. Inscribed on the coat of arms are the words 'Republque Rwandaise' and the county's motto: Liberte, Cooperation, Progress. The reverse of the coin features a Millet flower. Rwanda is known as 'The Land of a Thousand Hills', a term that its hilly topography, characterized by picturesque landscapes, and also reflects the nation's resilience and historic progress following the 1994 genocide.
