THE KWELE Sapphire Marquise Ear Cuff
THE KWELE Sapphire Marquise Ear Cuff features an array of marquise shaped sapphires that reflect and protect. Arranged as a four pointed flower inspired by a classic silhouette that can be found on the forehead of traditional Kwele masks from Gabon. A popular global design, the inverted silhouette of the marquise stones create the Ghanian adinkra symbol Mmusuyidee which translates to 'that which removes bad luck' and representing good fortune and sanctity.
Our ear cuffs are designed to be slipped on to the upper ear and gently guided to the lower nook of the ear where they sit secure without the need to tighten or adjust. Handcrafted with fine metals and responsibly sourced sapphires using the traditional lost-wax casting technique.
Available in: Sterling Silver, Solid 10K, 14K, 18K, & 22K Gold.
Made with responsibly sourced fine metals and gemstones.
Each cuff measures approximately 14mm in diameter. Features 32 genuine white sapphires totalling approximately 1.5 ct per cuff.
