THE NIGERIA Kobo Bar Coin Pendant
THE NIGERIA Kobo Bar Coin Pendant is handcrafted based on an authentic coin using the traditional lost-wax casting technique. The design features an image of the powerful Queen Makeda in a voluminous headwrap and jewels. It is said that she traveled to Jerusalem "with a very great retinue, with camels bearing spices, and very much gold, and precious stones" to visit King Solomon to "prove him with hard questions". She left pregnant with his child, Menelik the I, from whom the Ethiopian dynasty claims descent to the present day.
