THE KENYA Kenyatta Coin Pendant is handcrafted based on an authentic vintage 1970's Kenyan coin using the traditional lost-wax casting technique. The coin was minted during the nation's independence era. It features the script "The First President of Kenya - Mzee Jomo Kenyatta" alongside the leader's bust. The Kenyan Coat of Arms which includes two lions, symbolizing pride and protection, holding spears and a traditional East African shield are on the other side of the coin. The nations motto "Harambee" which translates to the Swahili phrase 'let's pull together' is written on the scroll below.
