THE SAO Tome and Principe Cocoa Coin Necklace is handcrafted based on an authentic coin from this small island nation. The county's coat of arms can be found on the front of the coin. It features a red-footed falcon and a grey parrot holding up a palm tree. A blue star sits atop the palm. The countries name is inscribed on the upper ribbon, and on the lower the motto "Unity, discipline, work". The reverse of the coin features a cocoa plant, one the of the island's main exports.
