STORY BEHIND THE PRINT
This print features the rich deep blues and warm golden yellows associated with the West African goddess Oshun. Most recently popularized in the opening scenes of Beyonce's Lemonade album, Oshun is the goddess of love, fertility, beauty and art. Oshun represents a universal feminine energy related to the Egyptian goddess Het-Heru (Hathor), the cow in the manger during the birth of Christ and Greek goddess Aphrodite. The print known as "Hibiscus" is also traditionally given as part of a wedding dowry in West Africa.
Please use your actual body measurements, as dress sizes often vary across designer. Bra size is not the same as bust measurement, be sure to measure with a measuring tape the widest part of your bust in a bra you are likely to wear with the garment. If you have any areas of your body that are different from conventionally sized clothing (i.e. fuller arms or waist, taller or shorter height) contact us for guidance around fit.
All garments are made to order. Please allow 2-4 weeks for construction before shipping.
Handwash in cool water. Hang to dry. Iron on low setting on wrong side of garment. Do not bleach.
