THE GUYANA Jaguar Coin Pendant is handcrafted based on an authentic vintage Guyanese coin using the traditional lost-wax casting technique. The coin was minted during nation's independence era. It features Guyana's coat of arms which include two Jaguars holding a pick axe, sugar cane, and rice, symbolizing the nation's agricultural industry, an indigenous crown with a diamonds symbolizing the original people of the country and the mining industry, and a shield with the county's national flower the Victoria amazonica lily, the three main rivers, and the national bird. The national motto, "One people, One Nation, One Destiny", appears on the scroll below the shield.
